Sensory support and in particular the use of Sensory Toys is really important for many people with autism.

Our Son has a particular affection to both Chewy Tubes and Light sensitive Sensory Toys.
So how do you identify the right sensory needs particularly for young children. I find it best to have a range of sensory toys that you can access. Over time you will find what works best, analysing behaviour can also help identify what is needed.
