The world is yours

Does your child get frustrated if they cant express themself?

Well its good to know you are not alone in this. In Ireland alone there are over 14,000 children on the autism spectrum to varying degrees.

What can we do to help?

We can try to understand what it is they want and need , offer comforting options so that they can be stimulated and express themselves in some way.

Fun , it is of utmost importance in all of our lives but if we dont know how to have fun we need assitance.

Our wide range of toys and sensory options can help with this.

Our son has found the Chewy toys of particular value it helps him to not chew on clothes or fingers or anything else that may be dangerous. It stimulates him and when he is ffered a toy he generally greets it with a very loud "Whoo Hoo" , A sound I never tire of hearing!

He also particularly enjoys the light sensitive toys due to his visual disability and light sensitivity. Sometimes its too dark and sometimes its too bright , he can help controil the darkness with LED toys. Brightness can usually be solved by closing curtains or simply switching off lights!

The weighted blankets have also been a good find. It gives a sense of comfort whether in bed or simply lying on the couch or sitting in his wheelchair.
